Study On Customized Bus Service System Of Big City

Faced with the growing size of cities, urban trips increased significantly, by private car travel is the first choice for white collar and the economic strength of private car owners. However, the rapid growth of vehicle bring many issues,Such as road usage is reducing, traffic congestion is getting worse and idle speed vehicle exhaust gas lead air pollution, etc. To control the private car travel, can’t merely rely on restrictions, but improve the attractiveness of public transport by improving the quality of service, so that more private car owners will choose public transportation. Customized bus emerged in such a context, it developed rapidly with its own characteristics of the new public transport modes, its main customers is the white-collar and private car owners worked in the city center and business district, who go to destination regularly.To carry out Customized bus is conducive to ease urban traffic congestion, so that it reduce the traffic trips per capita road area occupied, effectively reducing the amount of private cars trip. Since 2013, Beijing has launched Customized bus and development rapidly, it supply door to door service for the passengers who have a long distance to go, and effectively reduce the peak rate of private car travel. Customized bus in China is still in its infancy, is currently only opened in individual cities, there is no uniform standard in terms of the service system. In this paper, through the study of conditions for the opening of Customized bus, route planning, service systems, to develop a comprehensive process for the traffic engineers and companies who plan to make Customized bus in other cities later.
