Research On The Planning Method Of Customized Public Transport Service

Introducing diverse new public transport scientifically and trying to meet the demand of urban diversified travel which is important to improve the quality of new urbanization development.Subscription Bus Service is a new type of traffic that between conventional buses and private cars and also it is one of diversified public transport mode. It is characterized by the common people taking the same transport together, though the collection of individual travel demand, opening ground passenger dedicated line or the line network, providing tailored passenger service for the people which are the same travel start and destination and the same travel time and the similar servicing level demand. The cost of this pattern is more expensive than conventional buses but cheaper than cars. It can provide travel services that may be approximate or better than those of the car which are comfortable, straight victory, flexible and personalized.Combining the current situation of the urban traffic congestion and the development city with the characters of citizens’ travel, the definition of subscription bus services, advantages, characteristics and operating elements was studied and the feasibility and rationality of the service was analyzed in this paper. According to the service object of " subscription ", the line network planning method of subscription bus system was studied base on the operating elements and processes of custom organization. Under the premise of ticket prices both at home and abroad were analyzed and summarized, a method for determining reasonable fare lines operating conditions was simulated. In order to evaluate the whole line network operating level in time and improve the service level of operations, the comprehensive evaluation index of subscription bus service considering the various elements in the services was came up.In the study of subscription bus network planning model, firstly, the three basic elements which are docking point, line and line network were analyzed; secondly, the model of point, line, line mesh and wire mesh system model were got from the combination with the three level models; thirdly, their definition, advantage, disadvantages and applicability were studied in detail. At last, taken the Beijing subscription bus as an example, the planning method in Beijing subscription bus was summarized and also looked into the future of the Beijing line network.This paper provided the basic idea and practical reference for other domestic city to carry out the subscription bus, planning and implementation.
