Research On The Urban Spatial Form Of Xianyang City Based On The Regional Perspective

The urban spatial form is the result of human activity in particular natural and geographical environment, and the external manifestation of urban functions. The research of the urban spatial form includes the outer contour and internal structure of urban spatial form and urban form evolution of dynamic mechanism. By studying the urban shape, we can predict the future spatial development patterns and urban development direction of the city.Close to the Northwest’s largest city of Xi’an, Xian yang is just 23 kilometers away from the city center to center. Since the year of 2002, the promulgation of the "Xi’an – Xian yang Economic Integration Agreement" and "Guan zhong-Tian shui Economic Zone Development Plan", the established of Xi’an – Xian yang New District, makes the Xi’an – Xian yang integrate to urban integration development。Due to administrative reasons, it is difficult to integrate in space development. The external space form of Xian yang is from the central city blind expansion on the basis of the development of the single center circle. At the same time restricted by the northern tableland terrain, the Longhai Railway and Weihe River, the downtown of Xian yang city been stretched from east to west. The single central structure is difficult to adapt to the rapid development of Xian yang economic and social, which has brought a series of disadvantages of urban problems, and hindered the sustainable development of the city. Therefore, in the age of new town development, the age of expansion plan to situation stock plan,taking full advantage of the geographical advantages, handling the relationship of Xi’an city and new economic district and achieving common development,organizing and selecting the development of urban spatial form, optimizing the urban spatial structure, all the factors above will directly affect the urban space layout of Xian yang.Therefore, using the basic theory of urban shape to analyze the urban shape of Xian yang then predicting and controlling the development of Xian yang city is urgent.The research methods been used in this paper includes social survey, comprehensive analysis, combining qualitative and quantitative methods, historical analysis, comparative analysis etc..On the basis of urban spatial shape of Xian yang, this paper do some research on the evolution the current status and future development of urban spatial shape of Xian yang city.In short, with the development of society and economy, the power of city expand is growing. The urban space of Xian yang city would expand to the north, south, east and west directions in a way of concentric circles rapidly。The development model of Xian yang city will be in a way of "the downtown + ecological zone + multi-group" type. Meanwhile,according to the requirements of the new town development, using the inventory planning concept to intensive the development of urban space. From the aspect of the urban construction, urban road traffic framework and the ecological environment of the city to focus planning and management.
