The Application Aesearch On Gabion Retaining Wall In Expressway Slope Collapsed Treatment

As a new-type retaining structure, gabion retaining wall has been gradually applied to in many fields, but, it is not widely used in expressway cutting slope collapsed treatment yet, and there is a few systematic study on its applicability, economy, stability and operability at present. Relying on Guangxi Jingxi to Napo expressway construction project,the paper has reviewed and analyzed research status of the gabion wall firstly, and then, by analysing the affecting factors of slope collapse and comparing the design to other alternative, it formulated the working principle and stability of gabion retaining wall.In the end, the construction technology and quality control of gabion retaining wall are also been elaborated in detail.The main results are as follows:(1)The application condition of gabion retaining wall was been defined by analysising the actual working conditions of the slump slope.(2)Comparing the techno-economic analysis of gabion retaining wall to other types of retaining walls, its advantages of stability, economy and environmental protection have been proved.(3)Based on the calculation of safety factor, we prove the stability of gabion retaining wall and slope can meet the requirements.(4)The paper has elaborated the construction technology and quality test of gabion retaining wall,and the implementing results proved its advantage.(5)The research results of gabion retaining wall can provide reference for cutting slope treatment in similar conditions.
