This dissertation main investigates the design of fixed-wing UAV flight control system based on DSP, from the point of engineering application. According to the research of fixed-wing UAV flight control system, we determine the functional requirements, performance indicators and design task. Then we get the equations of motion and design the flight control algorithm. Finally, the design of flight control system is accomplished from two aspects of hardware and software.Specifically, the main work of this dissertation includes a few aspects as follows:1. UAV and its control system design technology of development status and background are studied, the purpose of the study is also described clearly. This paper analyzes and compares several common control system design technology, then summarizes their characteristics. The paper proposes the task of designing UAV flight control system and determines the design process and methods.2. We get the longitudinal, transverse linear equations of motion through the establishment of six degrees of freedom mathematical model of UAV and linearization method with a small disturbance. Based on gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer, two attitude algorithms are proposed. And then, we design PID controllers of pitch, speed, altitude, roll and yaw channels according to the equation of state established.3. The working principle of GPS module, gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, altimeter, airspeed meter is described. Then we determine the specific sensors model, and finish the hardware design task.4. Based on the control arithmetic and hardware performance, the main program and the interrupt program flow chart of the fixed-wing UAV flight control system are given, and, finally we finish the software design of the control system.
