It is an effective seismic strengthening method to add seismic Wa ll and steel brace in the reinforced concrete frame structure,it improve s the shock resistance of the structure and avoids adopting strengthe n stiffness and strength of components one by one.Recently, although the s eismic strengthening method of adding seismic Wall and steel brace have b een put into practice currently, the research about this part is also limi ted and not very depth, especially about the research of the seismic Wall w ith a hole. This strengthening method can not only improve the stiffness o f the structure, decrease the displacement, improve the ability to consume the energy, but also be more economical and have little influence to the fu nction of primary structure. So it has a good prospect in the practice of en gineering.Thesis first made a 1/5 scale of 5-story reinforced concrete frame structure, add seismic wall and steel brace to the forth story, then carried on the shaking table test. The test has imitated 47 working conditions of frequent seismic 、defense seismic and infrequent seismic.Test research is completed in dynamic characteristics、acceleration response、displacement response and strain of components. Finally, established two models of reinforced and non-reinforced by ETABS,then carried on the time history analysis.Experiment and analysis results show that after the proper stiffness of seismic wall and steel brace have been added, the forth story only has slight break in the effect of seismic, while the fifth story has been severely damaged,it proves that the bearing capacity of the forth story has been improved by this method of strengthening, but the fifth story has been relatively weak.
