| The technology of structural energy dissipation and shock absorption has been widely used in practical engineering.With the development of viscous damper,shaking table test is an important means and method to study the failure mechanism and failure mode of the arrangement mechanism,to evaluate the overall seismic capacity of the structure and to measure the effect of shock absorption.However,due to the limitations of the shaking table’s bearing capacity,test time and test funds,the model needs to be scaled down for most of the tests.The similarity design of viscous dampers is very important in the shaking table test model design of additional viscous dampers,and the similarity design method needs to be further improved.In this paper,a similar design method of viscous dampers is proposed for the model of energy dissipation and damping structures subjected to shaking table tests in order to make the scaled model reflect the dynamic response of prototype structures in earthquakes more accurately.The main research contents and conclusions of this paper include:(1)The existing mature similarity theory is summarized,and the scale similarity design of prototype structure is carried out by using the dimensional analysis similarity method.The calculation results show that the scale model is similar to the original model in basic dynamic characteristics,and the frequency error is controlled within 2%.(2)Through theoretical derivation,the viscous dampers are designed similarly based on the equivalent design method of damping force and the equivalent design method of energy dissipation capacity of dampers,and a new double equivalent design method of damping force and energy dissipation capacity is proposed.(3)The rationality and accuracy of the design methods based on the equivalence of damping force,the equivalence of energy consumption capacity,and the double equivalence of damping force and energy consumption are analyzed by OPENSEES.Taking the damping rate as the index,the results show that the scaled structure model based on the double equivalent design method of damping force and energy dissipation capacity can accurately and effectively reflect the shear force of the prototype structure in the earthquake.For the inter-layer displacement Angle response,the effectiveness of the double equivalent method is related to the type and strength of seismic waves.(4)Comparing the three kinds of damping coefficient under different damper arrangement similar to the method,the accuracy of the efficacy of a code of three kinds of equivalent damping is associated with damper decorate a form,for chevron,diagonal,open type three kind of decorate a form,double equivalent method is more accurate and effective response on seismic dynamic response of the prototype structure,higher versatility. |
