Now,energy and environmental issues are two major issues which are concerned by the whole world,wind power isan integral part of the clean energy,therefore,wind power technology is attracting more and more people’s attention.Variable pitch increases the scope of the available wind energy,while independent variable pitch technology reduces the wind turbine’s load bases on the above,maintain a constant output power.Based on the study,choose 1.5 MW permanent magnet direct drive wind turbine,complete the design of unified pitch and independent pitch,build the model of wind turbine in MATLAB software,confirm the accuracy of the model and control scheme.Firstly, elaborate the related theory of aerodynamics of wind turbines,then study the process control of variable pitch,establishe the mathematical model of wind speed and wind turbine, generator, transmission device,then complete the build and validate the model in MATLAB software.Secondly, in order to carry out the design of the pitch controller,study the neural network in-depth,through the design and training the BP neural network,complete the design of unified pitch controller.Complete the unified variable pitch based on the BP neural network in MATLAB software,confirm the feasibility of the control scheme of the unified variable pitch.Thirdly, in order to reduce the fatigue of units caused by imbalance loads,complete the design of independent variable pitch control based on the unified variable pitch.According to the variation of blade azimuth angle,put forward the weight coefficient of the pitch,conduct the independent variable pitch control,and build the model of the average wind speed on the leaf blade influenced by the wind shear and tower shadow.Simulation comparison,indicates that the independent variable pitch has advantages compared to the unified variable pitch, more suitable for large-scale wind turbine pitch control.
