Aggregate is an important material in the process of asphalt concrete mixing, and gradation is a key indicator to evaluate the quality of the aggregate. If gradation is unqualified, the result will directly influences the quality of the asphalt road and pavement performance. So the analysis of the aggregate gradation has important practical significance for the development and construction of highway. In this paper, we developed a system in order to overcome the defects of traditional methods of gradation analysis which were slow speed, complex operations and lagging analysis. The system is used to display and analyze the data of aggregate gradation in real time.In this paper, we mainly studied the method to dynamically analyze, process and count the data of aggregate gradation. Also we finished detailed design and implementation, and completed design of software system and database.In this paper, first of all, we used multi-threaded program to make full use of system resources. Meanwhile, it ensured the implementation of stored function of gradation data. Secondly, we used four kinds of design patterns in this software which were “ the top application using the event ”, ” dialog using the event ”, ” queued messages processor ” and “ UI events processor ”. It can make the structure of software more complete, the performance more stable, and the software is more convenient to maintain. Thirdly, based on aggregate gradation data real-time collection, we developed the software named aggregate gradation dynamic analysis system under the environment of virtual instrument. The function is to analyze and display gradation data timely and dynamically. In addition, we choose Lab VIEW Toolkit SQL database access technology combined with Microsoft Access database to realize data storage and query by analyzing the contrast under Lab VIEW five kinds of database access technology.
