In this paper, in order to realize the real-time monitoring of the asphalt mixture production quality and solve the problem of the current mineral mixture gradation detection process is hysteretic and complex, a multi-source vision technology was used. The technology done the aggregate dynamic image acquisition research from the selection of asphalt mixture raw materials, and determined the multi-source vision system scheme of the aggregate dynamic image acquisition combining the high power LED light source with the area-array camera, and put forward the design and implementation method of the system hardware and software.The paper set up image acquisition system in the aggregate dropping link and sampled the aggregate image samples in the discrete state through the analysis and research of production site mixing equipment. An online automatic control electric material sampling device and a multi-axis motion control system based on PLC were designed in this paper.433 M frequency wireless data transceiver modules and macroscopic monitoring devices were used to realize the wireless network between control room and production site bins, ensuring the precise wireless remote control of the sampling sample size and the particles falling motion state. Synchronous real-time acquisition of production site multi-bin aggregate images was released through the use of a multi-source vision plan which combined multiple gigabit Ethernet and area-array camera. The paper chose the adaptive gigabit Ethernet switch cooperating with the optical fiber transceiver and used the single mode optical fiber to realize the image data transmission. This scheme solved the problems of multi-camera real-time parallel transmission, large amount of data transmission and long distance of data transmission. In order to ensure the acquisition quality of aggregate particle image and the constant all-weather imaging of system the paper designed a additional light source scheme which combined the high power LED light source with the black opaque shield. The design of sloping black diffuse reflection background board and baffle plate reduced the shadow of dynamic acquisition image effectively. The design of aggregate real-time detection software based on LabVIEW in this paper not only can meet the requirements of mineral aggregategradation real-time monitoring, but also has friendly interface.For the system designed in this paper, a lot of indoor and outdoor experiments were developed, results show that the system puts forward effective improvement measures for the aggregate dynamic image acquisition process and can satisfy the requirements of aggregate gradation real-time detection and control, Test results of the system given in the paper has the scientific nature, objectivity and accuracy.
