Our country is energy superpower, with increasing the energy crisis, new energy automotive technology development more and more important, the new energy automobile fuel economy research has become an important subject, the rational matching power transmission system, to reduce the city bus fuel consumption is of great significance.Paper a gas in xi"an city bus as the research object, using AVL CRUISE software established by the passenger vehicle and parts of simulation model, prototype model and simulation of power performance and fuel economy of the xi"an city driving cycles all typical urban roads into the CRUISE, compare the prototype in xi"an city driving cycles all typical urban roads and urban working condition of engine running frequency under the condition of four point distribution, concludes that prototype in xi"an city all typical urban roads more work cycle under the condition of the engine at low speed area, so the xi"an city driving cycles all typical urban roads of xi an city bus has guiding significance for matching of power transmission system optimization. CRUISE software build’s city bus simulation model of natural gas with the ISIGHT software simulation, the transmission ratio and the main reducer ratio parameter optimization, the optimized transmission ratio from low-grade to high-grade are respectively 5.51, 4.23, 2.24, 1.27, 0.92; Final drive ratio is 4.25, and make a prototype of hundreds of kilometers fuel consumption from 40.72 L/100 km to 34.1 L /100 km, hundreds of kilometers fuel consumption by 17.4%. Because the bus production enterprises not corresponding to the parameter optimization and the transmission ratio and the main reducer ratio, therefore already on the market by the engine, transmission, and the main reducer,matching combination of them, and the simulation calculation and analysis, it is concluded that the optimal scheme of power transmission system matching, the matching of prototype hundred kilometers fuel consumption from 40.72 L/100 km to 36.89 L/100 km, fuel consumption decreased by 9.2%.
