The Research Of Intelligent Home Terminal Control System

Along with the development of social economy, the pace of people’s life has become more and more quickly; people face all kinds of stress in life every day, especially the people who live in the urban area. Home provides a place which people can relax, adjust, and relieve the pressure of life. In order to facilitate the management of the home, and to enjoy a better life of the home, intelligent home control system emerged as the times require. As some technologies such as video surveillance and media player which have higher requirements for the processor applying to intelligent home control system, the traditional ARM 9 and ARM11 processor can’t satisfy the needs of intelligent home terminal; additionally, the traditional intelligent home control system uses business operation system based on the non-open source WindowsCE, and the design of graphical user interface is not friendly, so this article designs and realizes the intelligent home terminal control system based on ARM Cortex A8. After debugging, the system works properly, and achieves the desired design goal. The design process of this subject mainly finished the following work:1. The article completed the design of hardware platform of the intelligent home terminal control system, including the USB camera modules, PM2 5 module, temperature detection module, alarm module, and the hardware design of the intelligent terminal.2. The article completed the cutting and transplantation of embedded Linux kernel, the manufacture and transplantation of uboot system, and the customization of root file system, and the friendly terminal graphical interface is designed.3. The article completed the hardware driver module of LED lights, AD conversion, alarm, air conditioning, exhaust fan, as well as the load of network adapter driver and camera driver module. The article implemented the display of system clock, the acquisition of frequency of CPU, free memory, and parameter of left disk space. The article designed the intelligent terminal interface of PC remote login, and implemented the function of remote login.4. The article completed the control of intelligent terminal for indoor LED light switch, the acquisition and control and regulation of temperature and PM2. 5 value, and the function of video monitoring. And this article completed the debugging of each functional module.
