With the development of the society, the chitinous improvement of people’s living standard, people have gained great satisfaction about the material life. At the same time, people’s aesthetic on the object, the requirements of the environmental comfort, people’s demand for rich entertainment and communication between people, etc, this kind of spiritual need are constantly improving. Public space environment is meet the demand of people, people’s life is closely related to public environment, therefore, a beautiful environment; reasonable design of public space in People’s Daily life is indispensable.The existing public space have some problems in landscape design, such as lack of originality in landscape design, blindly by reference, style is also almost the same, No thinking about the actual local situation, etc. Maybe it has a certain function, but there is so little consideration about the demand for the audience’s emotional experience and other requirements.Between people and landscape are entire ties. People are the final users of the all designs. Only do real people-oriented, humanized design for the main purpose to make a public space can meet the demand of the public. Therefore, this paper introduces the concept of "interaction design" to the landscape design of public space, as a new design method. In landscape design, to increase the interaction and experience between people and scene, put the emotion of people into the landscape, to coordinate the relationship between the people and scene.To make the whole of the landscape design be more accordant with the needs of the public, create public environment in which people need.The article makes systemic analysis to the interactive concept about the application and reflection in the public landscape; at first the relevant concepts of public landscape design interactive theory were summarized. Definite analysis on definition of interactive, design method, design principles and design purpose. Then, through the understanding of the present design situation in public space landscape, and points out the importance of audience demand for design, and analyses the audience demand. Meanwhile, analyzes the understanding of human sensory experience, further combined with the needs of the people and the knowledge of environmental way for the reasonable design of public space landscape. The end of the article focus on combining with a street park practical case, based on the investigation and analysis of audience demand, analyzes and demonstrate the key problems and strategies in the design.
