Distributed Combined Cooling, Heating and Power system is an efficient way of supplying energy. It can use the generator power to the user while the waste heat for heating and cooling, which cannot only greatly improving the energy efficiency, but also reduce pollutant emissions. As a side close to the user’s way of energy supply, it can also combined with renewable energy such as wind and solar to further reduce emissions, therefore broad development prospects.According to characteristics of the system and the specific needs of DCCHP system, as well as considering the factors of economic costs, energy efficiency and other air pollutants, the operation strategy and optimal configuration of DCCHP system is studied. For the construction of a hotel in the northern region of examples validate the simulation analysis and optimize, finally a good result is achieved. The main contents of this paper can be divided into four parts.(1) The devices of the DCCHP system are modeled, as well as the users’ load and other factors. As a simulation tool for this study, the DCCHP system optimization simulation software is developed, which also adds the integrated performance criterion, operation strategy, optimization algorithms, operational data export function modules and user interface.(2) Considering the factors such as economy, energy saving and emission, and reasonably determine the performance of the weighting coefficient, an integrated performance criterion for the optimal of operation strategy and configuration of DCCHP system is established.(3) The operation strategy optimizing model with the power of generator as variables is established. Based on the pattern search algorithm operation strategy DCCHP system optimized solving the system to achieve optimal overall performance, the paper selected the example of the DCCHP system under the policy and strategy of the traditional simulation operation comparative analysis to verify the superiority of the strategy.(4) According to actual conditions as well as considering the user load, performance criterion, and the use of appropriate operation strategy, key equipment DCCHP system configuration is optimized so that the integrated criterion of the DCCHP system can achieve the best results. The impacts of the variation of weight coefficients and energy prices for the results of optimal configuration are analyzed finally.
