Road wrecker role is to make the roads open, the failure vehicles is towed away in time when an accident occurs to ensure the normal capacity of the road. In this paper, we use the finite element to carry on finite element analysis and software development of lift arm and bracket of the bracing-hoisting separated barrier-wrecker.In this paper we carefully studied the structure and working principle of wrecker. By using APDL language of finite element analysis software ANSYS and the frombottom-to-up modeling strategy, parametric finite element model is established for Lift arm and bracket of the wrecker.In a lift arm as the research object, selected the fourteen typical conditions of the finite element static analysis of structure of the lift arm. To calculate the stress distribution and deformation should be turntable and lift arm in the typical working conditions. Using a sliding pair between the surface to surface contact element to simulate the lift arm and the connecting frame of the slider, accurately calculating the stress and deformation between the lift arm with the slider. Completed live stress test of lift arm,verified the accuracy of the finite element model, and turntable and thestructure of lift arm is improved and perfected.On a bracket as the research object, selected the twelve typical conditions of the finite element static analysis of structure of the bracket. To calculate the stress distribution and deformation should be the bracket in the typical working conditions. Completed live stress test of bracket, verified the accuracy of the finite element model, and the structure of the bracketis improved and perfected.On the turntable and lift arm modal analysis and calculation, master the first few natural frequencies and mode shapes, which provided important modal parameter for the overall analysis.Based on Visual Basic 6.0 and ANSYS software parametric design language APDL, a wrecker structural analysis software development is achieved, which is instructive to the design of different types of wrecker. And it is convenient for the engineering technical personnel to use finite element analysis and technical to guide the construction machinery.
