The reduced DOF coaxial hybrid mechanism is a simplified equivalent mechanism that based on the control mechanism of Kamov three blades coaxial helicopter, as the 3SPS+RRS+PS parallel mechanism replace the original complex joystick, it is not only easy to realize the automatic control, but also to omit complex rocker device. So the coaxial hybrid mechanism can be applied to small-sized three blades coaxial unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV). This article mainly study the mechanical analysis for the reduced DOF ocoaxial hybrid mechanism in order to provide a theoretical basis to the design for the small-sized three blade coaxial UAV operating mechanism.Fist, the paper, based on the three blade coaxial helicopter operating mechanism, established a reduced DOF hybrid mechanism. According to the coaxial hybrid mechanism, use screw theory to ansysis the degree of freedom of swashplate mechanism, then analyze on an equivalent hybrid mechanism by position, and verified by Pro-E mechanism simulation. In the kinematic influence coefficient theory, achieve the influence coefficient of velocity and accelerate on hybrid mechanism and through the example, obtaining the velocity and acceleration curve on the hybrid mechanism mechanism. Finally, dynamic simulation and finite element analysis for the hybrid Mechanism are finished by Pro-e and ABAQUS. Aim at obtaining the dynamic characteristic curves on hybrid mechanism in different flight mode, such as Hydraulic booster length curve and stress curves, the important connector and the ball socket bearing stress curves and so on. And the key is connected with the moving pair and spherical hinge bearing. At last, according to the simulation results that the maximum stress on hybrid mechanism, through the overall mechanism was analyzed by ABAQUS, achieve the stress status on ball socket bearing and check it.This paper provides reduced DOF coaxial hybrid mechanism, explaining the rationality of mechanism design by means of mechanical analysis for the hybrid mechanism. It can provide a reference for the small-sized three blade coaxial UAV operating mechanism.
