The research on mountain city in North China not only has a guiding significance to the contemporary China citydevelopment, but also has an important reference role for the development of the area of mountain city.Therefore, for the study of space form of mountainous city in North China can not only explore the new mountaincity theory, and has great practical significance.At the same time, as the city spatial form evolution of external appearance, is the formation of social, economic,cultural interaction and so on, has the dynamic and diversity, dig through the research of city space form of theeconomic and social development between city and city link, in order to summarize the evolution of city. Based on this background, put forward the theory and case studies on the development of domestic mountain city space form evolution process, taking the spatial form as the breakthrough point, a geographical division of seven Chinese on the formation, basic research on the mountain city development and construction of the whole theory,expand the breadth and depth of mountain City in China theory and case study, to better guide the construction ofcity of mountain area of our country.Based on this background, this paper selects the mountain city of North China as the research object, with the cityspace form as a starting point, with the time and space development axis, respectively, from the ancient, modern,modern three stages, in different stages of North China mountain city of division, select a number of typical cases,the mountain city of North China the morphological characteristics and evolution law of history more complete,aimed at mining area of North China mountain city space form evolution, influence factors, elements and main characteristics, internal practice between analytic city spatial morphology evolution and the development of society and economy, the basic law and summarizes the evolution of North China mountain city space form, carries on the preliminary exploration of the North China mountain city space form.The thesis includes eight chapters: the introduction part, mainly elaborates the research background and therelated problems, the definition of the basic concept, the domestic and foreign relevant research review, research purpose and significance, research methodology and framework. The second chapter, discusses the overview ofdevelopment in North China mountain city in the mountainous region, analysis from three aspects of naturalenvironment, historical culture and economic development into a production environment, this mountain city in North China and the characteristics of the basic distribution location.
