Optimization Research On Urban Public Space Of High-density Mountainous Cities

The present study is based on Mountain Urban Agglomeration high-density space layout effectiveness optimization technology research--- Mountain Urban Agglomeration high-density development space layout effectiveness optimization technology research--who is the subproject of research of Key technology to Urban Agglomeration high-density space effectiveness optimization(project number “2012BAJ15B03”) in project of national science and technology support plan—research and integrated demonstration project of space planning and Dynamic monitor of key technology of urban agglomerations. Under the guidance of project’s general objective, considering the southwest mountainous Urban high density development situation, the present research emphasizes the intensive and ecological ways to mountainous urban Agglomeration high-density development; studies the key questions related to urban Agglomeration high-density development from a multi-level and multi-factor perspective; and conducts urban Agglomeration high-density development space layout efficiency research.With the rapid development of the nation’s economy and the upsurge of urbanization, intensive land utilization pattern has be taken as the first choice to mountainous city who is constraint of land. Land intensificat ion brings about the efficient space utilization, but it also causes high concentration of large amount of population and buildings in limited space, which results in high density development trend of the mountainous city. Urban public space, as the subsystem of the mountain city space, plays a significant role in urban development. However, lots of conflicts exist between mountainous cities’ high density development and urban space construction and lots of negative impacts are brought. The present study focuses on ways to optimize the urban public space by taking advantages of mountain cities’ characteristics and its high density development strengths.Therefore, the present research employs the systematic research method of "question proposing – problem analyzing- problem solving". It firstly proposes the development problem of high density development mountainous urban public space through the general research and takes Yu Zhong peninsula of Chong Qing as an example to select its space elements and analyze the development rules. Then, the present research analyzes the present conditions and characteristics from the aspects of public space structure, public space morphology and public space functions. By combing the relevant optimization theory, the present research puts forward the optimization strategies which suits to high density development of mountainous urban public space, attempting to provide research support to the project of Mountain Urban Agglomeration high-density space layout effectiveness optimization technology research.The present consists of four main parts which is then subdivided into seven chapters:The first part is consist of the first chapter which devotes to set the research domain. It mainly analyzes the research background; declares the research significance, research purpose and research subjects; and reviews the present relevant research situation and research methods to determine the research contents, research methods and research framework.The second part is consist of the second chapter which conducts the analysis to high density development of mountainous urban public space and paves the way for the core part of the research. Through the analyze to relationship between mountainous city high density development and city public space, this part discusses the contradict and influence relationship between mountainous city high-density development and urban public space.The third part includes chapter three and chapter four who take Yu Zhong peninsula as an example to carry out specific analysis to the research question. Chapter three mainly presents the general situation of public space, public space elements, evolution rules and future development trends of Yu Zhong peninsula. Chapter four mainly conducts the specific research from the aspect of present space structure, public space morphology and public space function of Yu Zhong peninsula.The fourth part consists of chapter five, chapter six and chapter seven which are the discussion parts. Chapter five constructs the public space optimization system of Yu Zhong peninsula, and by combining relevant optimization ideas, it discusses the construction of optimization system ideas and methods on the basis of optimization goal and principle.Chapter six put forward the overall network optimization of the public space structure, multi-dimensional space morphology and multiple points of the optimization tactics of the public space functions.Chapter 7 cards the whole research’s research ideas and contents; indicates the innovation points and deficiencies of the research; and points out the direction to future research.
