Research On The Design Of Mountain-resort Residential Area

With the economic developing, society progressing, urbanization speeding, people are gettingtired of the city, they want to return to the nature and enjoy the freshness and tranquility. Mountains attract a large number of visitors by rich mountain landscape, fresh air, mountain lakes, hot springs, natural resources and unique cultural heritage. Mountainous resort settlements are becoming popular gradually.Number of high-quality mountain tourism resources as a famous city on the mountain, Therefore, Chongqing’s mountain-resort settlements have great potential.I researched many local mountain-resort settlementsin Chongqing, and found that most mountain-resort settlements have poor performances in environment, functions and comforts. In addition, due to seasonal factors, tourists in busy season are too much and the number of tourists exceeds environmental capacity, settlements’ environments under overload conditions, which results damage to the environment, and at the same time, tourism quality falls. On the other hand, in dull season, high vacancy ratesresult the wastes in resources and facilities. Moreover, many problems are damaging the environment, such as ignoring the inherent relationship between mountain settlements and the environment, thedestruction of the original mountain, conflicts with the surrounding environmentin the process of construction, lack of architectural-form guidance, etc. Therefore, we need to focus on the rational use and protection of Chongqing’s mountain Tourism Resources and creating a good holiday atmosphere in the design of mountain resort settlements.The design should combinethe needs of visitors and Chongqing’s mountain cultures, in order to create different kinds of mountain resort settlements.Secondly, the author collected the resourceof mountainsin Chongqing area, analyzed the spatial structure of Chongqing tourism resources, combined with the research on the type of mountain resort residential, summarize the development status, problems and development trend, so as to summarize the design principles of Chongqing Mountain Resort residential district: the demand of resort residential as the design principle, the design principle of integrity, the principle of suit one’s measures to local conditions, pay attention to the environment of culture, the principle of coordinated development of man and nature, resources, products for sustainable principle, outstanding holiday settlements geographical characteristics.On this basis, through the comparison and analysis of outstanding examples of traditional houses in Chongqing and the domestic and foreign residential areas in resorts, and extraction of the design concept of the essence, combined with tourism, ecology, planning and architectural design of mountain landscape, part of the theory value to reference. In the mountain resort style living is introduced and analyzed respectively, the location of the theme positioning, holiday products, functional zoning and development space layout, traffic system, residential holiday atmosphere, live a few residential design and other aspects, summarizes the design strategies of the resort residential on the mountains in Chongqing, and maximum to organize and make good use of the mountain natural and cultural resources in Chongqing. In order to achieve the harmony and unity of the landscape, ecological, economic, social cultural and aesthetic function, and promote the sustainable development of area of mountain resort in Chongqing.Finally, with the case of residential district planning in Badoutai,Zhongxian, The author makes analysis and empirical research on planning of mountain resort residential district in Chongqing. Finally, the author sort out the design content of mountain resort residentialcommunity, andsummed up the beneficial proposals to design the mountain resort residential district.
