Recently with the development of smart grid technology, A large number of intelligent substations, as the foundation of the smart grid, have been built and put into operation by the State Grid Corporation of China, and they have cost enormous manpower and materials.Compared to the traditional conventional substation, the intelligent substation has a large progress in the automatic level, and with the combination of computer technology, nearly all the electrical equipments serving for the power grid can be controlled remotely, as well as the operating data can have a real-time updating. The faults of the equipment and the power grid can be diagnosed intelligently, and with the help of special purpose software, some of them can be back to normal automatically.Because of the great advantages in the aspect of daily operation and maintenance, there is a urge requirement for the intellectualize reconstruction of the conventional substationA new design plan of the condition online monitoring system for this substation is proposed,the system has been put into trial operation, the operation effect is good in Substation.This Three aspects:the intelligent monitoring component for primary equipments in the substation, the power system communication configuration and the supplementary developing SPM-2I system platform have been introduced in this design plan.(1)Solve the problem of intelligent component design.In contrast to the three kind of scheme,The project is a reconstruction project, the time limit for a project, the construction need to cooperate with the power outage time, and the operation of the power network is very high security requirements,the design of the intelligent primary equipments mainly includes the primary equipment( the high-voltage equipment) itself and the intelligent componentwhich can meet the demand of intelligent, and does not have the security hidden danger to the host device..The intelligent component is set up by the intelligent electronic device(IED) with a special function of monitoring, the IED equipment and the intelligent component switchgear, and it has the basic function of measuring, controlling and monitoring for its host equipment(the primary equipment).(2)Solve communication system design problem.The communication configuration can be roughly divided into two layers: the process layer and the substation control layer. Each IED with special functions of monitoring obtains its raw data by every inter-set or outer-set sensors of the high-voltage equipment. Its characteristic data and the primarily diagnosed result can be received after analyzing.On the substation control layer,The network can be access to integrated automation system of intelligent substation, Sampling every intelligent component value by using unique DL/T860( IEC61850) standard, calculating, analyzing, saving and diagnosing the sample value, providing a unique external communication interface, and communicating between the substation and the remote data-platform.while providing remote communication interface for data sharing, data security protection method with lateral isolation.(3)The supplementary developing SPM-2I system platform can realize the following function: The system program intelligence analysis condition message gives the running status of the equipment.The SPM-2I state-monitoring system can be configured into B/S mode and C/S mode. The B/S mode is short for Browser/Server mode,which means browse the condition system of a equipment conveniently through a browser and it can be used to complete condition monitoring and simple administration configuration. The C/S mode is short for Client/Server mode, which can be used to establish more complex system configuration and analyze specific condition monitoring data. With these two modes, The different equipments between substation maintenance personnel and operating personnel in specific major and easily use can be highly met.
