Research On Transformation And Upgrading Of Port Logistics Enterprises--Based On System Dynamics Analysis

As an important national foundation facility and the hub of the comprehensive transportation system,the port plays an important role in supporting the development of the national economy and foreign trade.After years of development, China’s port logistics industry has made great achievements.But it has been taking an extensive mode of development all along.Resulting from the international financial crisis and the upgrading transformation of industry in China, the cost of port logistics enterprises keeps rising and the profit grows slowly, which brings about increasing pressure to the enterprises.To meet the requirements of the modern shipping industry, the port logistics enterprises is in urgent need of transformation and upgrading,which means that they need to change the mode of development and management from providing single service to integrated services and achieve sustainable development.This thesis starts from explaining the connotation and motivation of transformation and upgrade of port logistics enterprises.Then the main influence factors are analyzed.Based on the System Dynamics Theory,this thesis selects five input index into a System Dynamics Model to study the port logistics enterprise’s transformation and upgrade quantificationally.Taking Guangdong Navigation Group as a case, it conducts simulation analysis of the reform effect. Finally,by changing the rate of every input index,it analyzes the investment strategy for port logistics enterprises.In conclusion, this thesis builds a System Dynamics Model to analyze external driving force,internal mechanism and strategy choice on transformation and upgrading of port logistics enterprise, using such research methods as literature research, depth interviews, system dynamics model, data simulation and empirical analysis.The suggestions will be useful for the transformation and upgrading of port logistics enterprises.
