| Chinese Great Wall of Han dynasty sites which located in He Xi district represent the relatively integral parts and frontier culture in Han dynasty. It has unearthed sufficient bamboo slips and wooden tablets in which large amounts of political, economic and cultural information with important historical value of Han Dynasty are documented. Juyan frontier defense of Han Dynasty plays the most strategic role in the northern Chinese Great Wall of Han dynasty sites, furthermore, most unearthed bamboo slips and wooden tablets are from Juyan frontier defense of Han Dynasty sites. The site display as the continuation of ruins protection is one of the essential ways to understand the ruins for the public and shed light on the role of the education in society and help to strengthen public awareness of protecting ruins. Located in northwestern China,He Xi district is characterized by the geomorphic features of Gobi desert terrain. Restricted by this kind of special environment, the industrialization-driven urbanization development model cannot be indiscriminately imitated from the coastal areas in our country. However, this particular unique environmental endows the distributed Great Wall of Han dynasty sites with a sense of history. Accordingly, in the desert area of northwestern China, the Great Wall of Han dynasty sites display is able to promote the development of local tourism and in the future will help to promote local industrial transformation. First of all,on the basis of sorting out the difficulties faced by the site display through literature consulting and field investigation, this paper points out objectives and principles. And then solutions are proposed in three ways: the content, mode and layout of the site display. Secondly,the display content contains the main body and historical environment of the sites as well as the unearthed relics and relating historical culture. Thirdly,the display mode is determined by four aspects: the sites integral pattern display, the site unit display, the site unearthed relics display and relating historical culture display. At last, the display showing line, service facilities and relating development control requirements are determined by outbound and restricted traffic organization design. |
