With the development of Shipping industry and the wildly application of information technology, we make networked and intelligent technology blend in modern Shipping industry to adapt to the demand of the high precision and high beneficial Shipping market.The informatization of management in Ship welding project is the main guarantee of the welding production operation, system database measures, labor-hour arrangement and the cost control in shipping business. It also is an important component of the realization of the intelligentize and informatization shipbuilding.It is difficult to estimate the welding quantity and the welding labor-hour accurately in shipping business. And how to formulate standard about the welding quantity and the welding labor-hour correctly also is a problem. In connection with these two problems, this article analyzed the key factors that affect the shipping welding quota and the process characteristics. Based on this, we have researched the theory about how to calculate the welding depletion and labor-hour reasonable. We have also designed Ship welding engineering management system database based on the relationship of welding depletion and the labor-hour which solved the problems of unreasonable arrangements of welding and bid errors in labor-hour. It achieves the standardization in ship welding actual production. In the practical application in shipping business, a small amount of modification in correction factor can satisfy the demand in actual situation. We study these following aspects in this article.(1)By studying the characteristics of the vessel weld data, the construction of ship project management welding database is founded. We introduce the shipwelding craft data extracted from the ship design software TribonM3 and design a welding process to the bulk freighter which studied in this paper.( 2) By ship welding data analysis, we further research the welding quantity and labor-hour. Using iterative calculation formula cross-sectional area of the weld make the calculation of the welding depletion more precision. We use the energy conservation law in the quota calculation of the welding labor-hour and establish the mathematical model of wire melting rate. We design an intelligent shipwelding calculation process.( 3) We develop the shipwelding engineering management systemdatabase which achieve the quota formulating standardization of shipwelding quantity and weldinglabor-hour. We also design a real-time weather conditions check. The design of dispatch list of welding present provides the help to the weilding construction on site and meets the shipping business’ s needs that to formulate the quota of welding quantity and labor-hour and to feedback the information conveniently.
