With the successive proposals of "Industry 4.0" and "Made in China 2025",the fourth industrial revolution led by "Intelligent Factory,Smart Manufacturing" has come quietly.Shipbuilding industry plays an important role in China's manufacturing industry.The transformation and upgrading of shipping enterprises is the trend of the current environment.With the gradual development of shipbuilding industry,the requirement for the efficiency and accuracy of ship workpiece welding is getting higher and higher.Promoting the automation and intellectualization of ship welding is an important link to improve the efficiency of ship production.In recent years,with the rapid development of computer vision image processing technology,machine vision system has been effectively applied in glue coating,assembly,pickup and other fields.Visual recognition system has the advantages of non-contact,large amount of information detected,easy to use and good flexibility.The application of visual recognition system can effectively improve the efficiency of automation in manufacturing industry.Aiming at the problems of many teaching points,tedious teaching process,inadequate environmental adaptability of welding robot and further improvement of welding accuracy in the process of automatic welding of ship workpiece,this paper puts forward the application research of visual recognition system on welding robot to identify the welding path of ship structure.The research results are as follows:(1)Through the research status of visual recognition technology at home and abroad and the application analysis of visual recognition technology in the shipbuilding industry,the feasibility of visual identification of welding path of ship structure is verified,and the visual recognition system is designed.The welding robot system is selected.And building(2)Through the analysis of the imaging principle of the visual recognition system,the relevant components of the visual sensor in the visual recognition system are selected,and the visual recognition system is calibrated,which verifies the accuracy requirements of the application of the visual recognition system in the visual recognition of ship structures.(3)Choosing the suitable environment for image processing algorithm development,analyze and study the principle of image processing algorithm,select and develop the optimal algorithm for ship structure welding path recognition,and improve the adaptability of the algorithm,so as to get the image processing results of ship structure welding path and the characteristic value of welding path information.(4)Introduce the whole image processing algorithm environment,and carry out visual recognition experiments on various workpiece welding paths to verify the applicability of the image processing algorithm in this paper.The causes of the errors in the whole welding path identification are analyzed,and the errors are corrected to reduce the impact of the errors on the welding path identification.
