Building heat preservation is the fundamental way of building energy saving and low carbon emission reduction. The current building insulation pass organic material EPS and XPS, but because of its belong to flammable substances, many fires, and short service life, easy deformation, the urgent need to find alternative products. As the inorganic flame retardant ideal insulation material, The application prospect of super-light foam concrete is very broad, but because of its high thermal conductivity, the lack of design codes and standards necessary, has not yet been popularized in building insulation market. This article from the architectural design point of view, to study the thermal performance, construction practices, super-light foamed concrete foam insulation materials applicable scope, in order to find the suitable for the application of building insulation practices, applicable area and ways of application, so as to promote the building insulation application of super light foam concrete.Firstly, through research and understand the current market of new-style super-light foamed concrete insulation Board on applications, particularly from the architectural design process, analysis shows that it is difficult to promote mainly because the process lacked the necessary construction method and application of standard specifications and application-specific way. Then using the method of numerical simulation, with energy simulation software, the super light concrete foam insulation materials in different climate zones, with different window wall ratio and shape factor, effect on building energy consumption simulation research on thermal properties of the material, for the building design units and relevant departments to formulate standards provide basic data. Through the expansion of polystyrene board and organic insulation materials(EPS) in the comprehensive energy consumption, the annual dynamic heat, cooling load data aspect and so on system comparison, given in the cold region and the hot summer and cold winter area, the basic parameters in the design of the typical public building envelope insulation.This study shows that super light foam concrete insulation Board despite its insulation properties are less EPS insulation boards, but has better thermal performance, especially in roof insulation, has good thermal performance. Especially for the fire rating requirements of high public buildings, its application effect has a larger advantage. The research results of this paper provide the method of architectural design, basic for application of super-light foamed concrete insulation board quantitative basis and basic parameters for the construction unit, using the provided reliable data support insulation technology, and establishing and perfecting related standards.
