Hot stamping forming process is a new formation technique to solve the difficulty of high strength steel forming problem such as cracking, spring-back in the conventional cold stamping forming. In the process of hot stamping and quenching, the heat transfer between the mould or the surrounding environment with the billet cause the change of the temperature which influence the quality of workpiece. Based on the simulation of hot stamping forming process of the twist beam, the paper studies the change and distribution rules of the temperature of hot stamping part.Firstly, the equivalent heat transfer coefficient is calculated by the heat transfer formula based on heat transfer theory in the tube billet transfer process. The process of transferring heating tube billet from heating furnace to the mold is simulated by using ABAQUS software to obtain the change rules of tube billet’s temperature in the transfer process and established of the initial temperature field of stamping.Secondly, the thermal-mechanical coupling simulation on the stamping process of heating tube billet is made by using software ABAQUS to study the respective influences of the initial temperature field and stamping speed on the temperature field and stress field of formed parts and determine the reasonable scope of process parameters.Finally, the respective simulations of free quenching and the die quenching on workpiece quenching cooling process are made to obtain the corresponding variation and distribution of temperature field of the workpiece in these two ways of quenching. According to the cooling rate of the workpiece as evaluation index of workpieces after quenching organization transformation, ultimately determine the free quenching method is used to realize obtain martensitic technological requirement of the organization. |
