Prestressed concrete cylinder pipe(PCCP) as a composite pipe, combing the advantages of steel pipe and concrete pipe, has been used in water distribution projects increasingly. In the recent years, the research on PCCP has received more and more attention. Because own structural characteristics, the magnitude and distribution of prestress is very important for carrying capacity an mechanical performance of PCCP, but the current bound to prestress distribution and loss of prestress wire completed research are relatively few. This article will combine the actual PCCP pipeline engineering and make use of finite element numerical simulation software ANSYS, trying to analysis the internal force and displacement of the structure to provide reference data for PCCP experimental research and engineering application. In this paper, the main work is as follows:(1) Through the ANSYS finite element model for prestressed analysis, get the stress distribution of PCCP; By the way, compare several modeling methods, such as building the model one-time or multiple stages applying cooling value,and to establish a model by combined steel wire or each wire; then get a optimal model of PCCP structure analysis.(2) To comprehensively consider the factors of PCCP prestress loss, analyzes the effect of the loss of pretress on structure safety performance.(3) To accurately get real prestress distribution, based on the ANSYS simulation, parameter analysis, set up wire stress and tube inner surface stress of concrete core relationship formula, in the end, it provides the theoretical foundation for the following test data.
