The Wings In Ground Craft is a special aircraft which can get close to sea or earth in which ground effect is created. With the help of “ground effect”, it can fly in a high-speed. From the view of the present global development situation of Wings In Ground Craft, people have not mature theory of designing the aircraft which flight in steam medium with high speed. As a consequence, the aircraft has not been widely used yet. Today, however, with the constant development of computer technology, the research, which is based on computational fluid dynamics of the aerodynamic in the field of the aircraft, has been becoming a hot spot. This method also provides a valuable reference for obtaining the aircraft aerodynamic layout and its movement model. As the control core of the aircraft, the flight control system is responsible for information collection, calculation of control rate, and sending the data throughout the entire flight. To design a stable flight control system which is suitable for the aircraft is of great importance in a high level of research.Firstly, this paper introduces the main research method of aerodynamics of the Wings In Ground Craft, and FLUENT software which is often used in numerical fluid calculation. In this paper, it selects advanced Russian “Kitty Hawk” Wings In Ground Craft as a prototype to let CATIA reconstruct it, then imports it in ANSYS ICEM software to carry on the grid. Lastly, it carries on the calculation aerodynamic parameters in the ANSYS FLUENT software.Secondly, due to the instantaneous change platform of craft in the area of the ground effect, it is necessary to design a stable and reliable flight control system to achieve stable flight for a long time. Based on the design experience of flight control system with fixed wings aircraft and the parameters from aerodynamic numerical analysis, the flight control system of Wings In Ground Craft has been created.Then the hardware adopts the philosophy of separating task management and flight control, uses double system chips as the core of the overall scheme of the flight control system architecture, and takes two pieces of TMS320 series C2809 microcomputer ad the main coprocessor that are respectively responsible for the implementation of flight control and navigation data decoding. And the system is divided into the main control module, the interface module, the sensor module and servo module that achieves high integration and low coupling. It also takes the same design concept on software design, implements the driver design of each module, analyzes the attitude heading Angle algorithm of strapdown inertial module, and parses the data of posture and heigh.Finally, according to the characteristics of the Wings In Ground Craft, it uses the PID controller design real-time, stability control system, then uses SRO in Matlab optimization software package to simulate the aircraft longitudinal and transverse lateral control law. The simulation results show that the rationality of the design of controller has better application significance.
