In the theory of constraints, for any system, there are bottlenecks restricting the output efficiency of the entire production system. Eliminating the bottleneck constraints is the optimal way to solve the problem of inefficient in a manufacturing line. Lithium battery production system is a typical discrete manufacturing system, after a great development in recent decades, the competition among the lithium battery companies has been very hard, it affects the companies’ s market competitiveness by their productivity. In case of the characteristics and problems in the production system of lithium battery manufacturers, this thesis put forward the optimization on the base of TOC in the lithium descrete production system.First, on the base of TOC analysis,it proposed that use the load ratio of each process’ s production capacity to identify bottleneck, and the production process control strategies of push-pull style, for the system bottlenecks, building productive capacities mathematical model and design heuristics to solve the mathematical model in order to verify the correctness of the analysis process, use witness software to build simulation model and analysis.In the process of analyzing the H lithium battery manufacturer, find the lithium discrete production system is very complex, the workload of mathematical modeling and simulation to the entire production system is very great, using qualitative analysis methods of TOC, analysis that the production capacity of packaging workshop is at a minimum,then analysis and improve packaging workshop.Analysis the workflow of five orders product in packaging workshop, use the margin of error method to statistics the time and batch of each process, use capacity equilibrium model and algorithm to optimize the production capacity of the planning period, get two improve program. Use the witness software to build models of the pre-production system, the production system of improve program one, the production system of improve program two, verify the correctness of the theoretical model.The result of this thesis is not only broadens the application of the theory of constraints, but also provides a certain theoretical approach for the equilibrium allocation and adjustment of the production capacity for the lithium descrete production system, this method is applicable to other discrete manufacturing companies.
