Since the assembly line was studied,it has entered all fields,and was well developed.Recently,as the mixed-model assembly line continues to develop,it has been more and more famous.Through the balance of mixed-model assembly line,enterprises can accelerate product flow,reduce production cycle,eliminate engineering bottleneck,realize the production unit,and improve the production ability,adapt the changes in the market in order to achieve flexible production system.There are three kinds of methods to analyze mixed-model assembly line,they are mathematical programming method,programming algorithms and traditional IE method.There are a lot of researchers analyzing the former two,and obtain a good research outcome,but it has met bottleneck problems about their development,the academic theory and real problem are disjointed.Although the traditional IE method is relatively simple,it has a wide range of applicability,and also has a strong practical for the solution of the problem.In this paper,the comprehensive utilization of the basic IE method and the improved particle swarm algorithm are used.Analysis the assembly line of balance internal combustion forklift of M factory,using the Witness to verify the improved results;Use the minimized overload time and materials consumption level as the optimization goal to model,assigned weights to two goals,using the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm to get the optimal operation sequence.The paper's content can be divided into five mian parts.Firstly,state the assembly line balancing research and future,analyzes assembly line balancing basic method,principles and the aim of research.Do some comparative study of different research methods.Secondly,introduce the related theory of basic IE,such as ECRS,program analysis,5W1 H analysis,explain the related terms and formula of the balance of production line,the basic principle and basic flow of particle swarm optimization algorithm are explained,claim that the paper will use the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm to get the optimal operation sequence.Thirdly,on the basis of IE theory,combining with a large enterprise of the M forklift FD30 truck plant mixed flow assembly line,analysis the balance of the assembly line,improve the production efficiency.Fourth,using the witness,a kind of simulation software of discrete events system,to analyze the production status and prove the role of traditional IE methods,and the software can optimize mixed-model assembly line's sequence problem.Finally,describe the mixed model assembly line production sequence of M forklift factory,choose the the minimized overload time and materials consumption level as the optimization goal to model,assigned weights to two goals to get a dual objective optimization modelthe,then use the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm to get the optimal operation sequence.
