Study On The Transparency Theory Of Modern And Contemporary Architecture

The modern space design has the characteristics of architecture transparency in spatial relationship, type,dimensions,functions,and some other aspects. Based on the contemporary context, architecture transparency extended out a variety of different development tendency,and the tendency of the manifestation was complicated and various.Contemporary architecture and urban design,landscape design,etc were generally exhibits some expressive characteristics like penetrability, chaos, fuzzy,complex and nonlinear, etc, which are closely related to transparency. Discussing the influence of the architecture transparency theory on space design will help us know more about the ideas and technique of design, guide the design to a better way.This article is based on the theory of “transparency” raised by Colin Rowe and Robert Slutzky, combined with some of today’s architectural design transparent property analysis of the cases of transparency in the construction,to elaborate the concept and the form of architecture transparency theory,summarizing and concluding the characteristics of the “physical transparency” and the "phenomenal transparency" from the theory of transparency’s raise formation,development and so on. And then,making a comparative study on the theories between the cubist paintings and modern architecture, in order to deepen the understanding of the theory of building transparency and the application in architectural design.Then,carried on the system research on the contemporary characteristics of architecture transparency. It also makes a analysis and exposition on the bottom of the figure cross, penetration,chaos of these three design features of transparency through a large number of design cases.Analyzed the development of the contemporary architecture transparency more intuitively.Further reveals the impact of the transparency theory on contemporary space design.Finally,Discusses the construction theory of transparency impact on contemporary space design from the view of space,space form,space function,etc, and then,summarizes the full text.
