With the development of the society and the explosion of population, urban per capita land area is rapidly reduced, which resulted in bulidings crowed and traffic jams. To solve this problem, most of the large and medium cities all over the world are concentrate on developing underground space. Most of the underground engineering are surrounding by existing buildings and pipeline s, which bring great difficulties to underground engineering construction and pose a threat to the safety of adjacent existing buildings. This paper analysis the weight of the risk of adjacent existing buildings near construction of underground engineering with the method of analytic network process, and analyze risk weights of each risk factor by MATLAB programming the network analytic network process(ANP) program, and then hierarchy every risk factors, put forward the corresponding countermeasure of the high risk factor. This article research from the following aspects:(1) Make a summarize of the underground engineering approaching construction risk factors for those existing buildings, including human factors and all kinds of existing risk factors and making a summarize and hierarchy all of those risk factors, bulid the risk decision system of existing bulidings affected by underground engineering approaching construction;(2) Analysis the risk of underground engineering approaching existing buildings with the method of hierarchy analytic network process, and using MATLAB to programming the program analytic network process;(3) Through the questionnaire survey to get the weight of each risk factor, statistics to get the final data and then input those date into the program,to get those risk factors risk weighting for existing buildings caused by underground engineering;(4) According to the risk weighting of those risk factors, making a level division of all of the risk factors of existing buiidings approaching underground engineering, According to the level of risk factors, put forward the corresponding countermeasures of those high level risk factors.The research of the risk of those existing bulidings and the countermeasure research of those high level risk in underground engineering approaching constr uction, which provide a reference basis of the protection of those existing bulidings near underground engineering, and provide the analysis method for the other similar approaching construction, and also can provide technical and theoretical support of the safty of underground engineering approaching construction.
