Research On The Application And Form Of Out Door Flowers Arrangement In Guangzhou City

Floral arrangement is an important part of application of garden plant. It is popular in our country and gradually become a hot point. Guangzhou, the Flower city, has a long history of floral application and a flourishing flower industry especially in outdoor floral arrangement. Recent years, it has a new definition of floral arrangement with the development of “Flower city, Green city, Watertown” in Guangzhou.This dissertation takes form and application of outdoor floral arrangement as object of study. The study is carried out in combining theory with examples, consulting literature, collecting cases of domestic and overseas, working on actual examples and investigations in Guangzhou, applying comparative analysis etc. Collation of relevant theories, which includes floral arrangement’s summarize and form, has an explanation of the study’s content and scope. This paper combines application of floral arrangement in domestic and overseas and systematically sums up characteristics of it through the analyses on actual examples. The investigation on form and application status of floral arrangement in Guangzhou and its major cases are floral arrangement examples from 2007 to 2013(includes holidays, big objects and common floral arrangements). Through the contrastive analysis of floral arrangement cases in Guangzhou points out its advantages and disadvantages and summarizes theories of floral arrangement and explores design methods of floral arrangement in Guangzhou. It will provide some reliable suggestions for related programs and hope to get some of the references for the industry peer in future and have a further push development of floral arrangement in Guangzhou.Research achievements of this program as follow:1.
