In < Evaluation standard for green building >(GB/T 50378-2006) defines the material saving and material resource utilization indicators, including usage rate of recyclable material(more than 10%) and usage rate of reusable material(more than 5%), currently, mostly experts believe the 2 targets hard to meet. This paper focuses on the following two questions: first, the recyclable materials usage rate in different construction conditions and the gap between 10%, then research how to optimize the structure of compliance for raising the usage; Second, the application of reusable building materials in China, and research how to promote the application of reusable materials. Specifically research work can be divided into the following four sections.Part I: Statistical calculations the recyclable materials usage rate of different architectural features, different structure, different architectural layers high buildings, average weight per unit area of different building materials, as well as share of total construction materials, then research the usage rate of recyclable material distribution regulation.Part II: Focuses on increasing the usage rate of recyclable materials, research the measures of steel, concrete optimization of certain structure, and the different structure how to optimize the structure style, external enclosure type and internal partition structure type.Part III: Analysis the measures of construction waste reusable, such as concrete, mortar, concrete block, as well as housing prefabricated component such as concrete stairs, decorative materials, how to promote the applications of reusable materials usage, and through cases present application effectiveness.Part Ⅳ: Introducing the case of building information modeling(BIM) technology with building design and construction, offer reference to further refinement of the advancing housing industrialization and construction project management.
