The object of this study is a steel truss corridor which is located in xi ’an, the project under construction came shortly after the first quarter roof plate leaks, preliminary judgment may be due to changes in temperature to produce a larger temperature stress, make the roof plate cracking. In this paper, the problem was studied by means of temperature effects under different temperature conditions, analysis of the structure of the specific reason of the roof plate occurs. The second part of the study of this paper is the seismic performance of the steel truss corridors. The corridor is different with common Bridges and coal conveying trestle engineering. On both sides of the cross is long cantilever structure, cantilever20 m or so, and across the middle of the span is larger-46.55 m, another difference is the lower part of the support structure is not pier of bridge structure, but a complex frame shear wall structure, in the engineering design, due to its lower complex structure, the seismic behavior of the upper structure is complex, needs to carry on the seismic performance analysis. In this paper, the main work content and the results of the study include the following two aspects:(1)Use the finite element analysis software ANSYS to establish finite element model of the corridor, the temperature effect analysis, calculate truss corridor temperature effects under different temperature conditions, and compared the results of different temperature conditions. Through the analysis to find out the reasons of roof plate cracking, and it is concluded that when there is a temperature difference on bothsides of the main truss structure’s influence on the structure, the largest in use process should take measures;(2)Respectively by using vibration mode decomposition response spectrum method and dynamic time history analysis on the seismic behavior of the corridor, one-way,two-way calculation considering earthquake levels and the influence of three dimensional input space. It is concluded that the structure of the cantilever span in a seismic analysis, the dynamic response is bigger, the cantilever end is the weak parts in the earthquake. The structure of the structure should establish the space analysis of the seismic model, to consider three to the earthquake input seismic performance. In this paper, the temperature effect of the steel structure truss corridors and the seismic performance analysis can not only solve the practical engineering problems, but also can be taken as reference to the design of similar projects.
