Corridor Space Research Based On The Theory Of Typology

Corridor Space is one of the most common architectures elements, because of its varied forms to widely present in a variety of buildings.As the charm and expressive corridor space it is, corridor often become the highlight of the architecture. While typology is not a new theory, but the focus of the evolution logic and changing makes its unique value.This article selected some of the methods of typology which diagram the architecture and elaborated from east and west traditional architecture historical continuity, geographical context of inheritance,construction and other areas, to described the prototype property, conversion features and places, in order to achieve a more profound architectural corridor space research and provide a reference for future rational and creative design. Basis on typology research of the gallery space,this paper aims to find the new gallery space and the type of conversion prototype, to explore the possible emergence of new forms with logic, and be useful to contemporary architectural design.The first chapter introduced the basic theories and concepts have been described in this paper; the second chapter is focused on the typological methods and specific examples have been described and explained; third chapter extract different type during the history; The fourth chapter is not only a further extension of the third chapter, but also make a conclution of prototype to explore gallery space; the fifth chapter cited the use of modern building design examples to illustrate the typology type conversion in the application. Last chapter described the evolution of the contemporary gallery space exploration.
