Architectural Features Of The Frontier Fortress And It’s Inheritance In Regional Architecture Design

In recent years, as the awakening of culture awareness during the process of city construction, the expression and continuation of traditional region culture become the common value pursuit on the city construction of city managers, architects and the general public. In the big background of exploring the local traditional culture characteristics everywhere in China, The area historily as a frontier fortress are gradually aware of the historial and realistic significance and value of the frontier fortress culture, positive sorting, protecting and exploring the local frontier history. Therefore, in recent years, relying on the frontier historical sites, the buildings showing the frontier culture history were built one and another. In the process, the problem which involves the refination and inherition of traditional culture in the modern time and space emerges.With this question, the article according to the five stage conducts a progressive study.firstly, the paper clearly defined the geographical scope by combining the historical geography view refers to the "frontier", clarify the geographical scope expansion to be discussed in the paper. Secondly, combined with the history and social anthropology viewpoint which help achieving the forming reason and historical background of the frontier cultural phenomenon. The paper described the frontier cultural in order to have an overall understanding of the historical background of frontier architecture. Thirdly, return to the frontier fortress building itself, to make research on relevant historical textual as the starting point for this study, and combine the analysis method of the Genius Loci theory and architectural typology,then we can achieve the stratified analysis on frontier formation mechanism, scale, function, spatial form type of architecture from the architectural perspective,so as to answer the question what is the frontier of architecture, which lays the foundation for the further interpretation of frontier fortress architecture culture. Fourth, to get the aesthetic understanding of frontier fortress architecture culture from the viewpoint of practice aesthetics in three aspects which involves the form layer, image layer and meaning layer.so that the artistic features of the frontier architectural culture are summarized and extracted from vary space images, from which we can learn the space form and emotional structure behind the frontier fortress building phenomenon. The paper do the upper stage in order to explore the possible existence of art heritage of frontier fortress architecture form and space. Fifth, combined with previous refined results, the paper puts forward the corresponding thinking way and the method in the three modern architecture design aspects which involves architecture state planning, space image composition and architectural environment perception. then,carries on the induction and comparative analysis of the now popular three design method of the frontier fortress style building which involves the overall history environment imitation, the transformation and collage of architectural symbol and the initial exploration of initial inheritance. According to the conclusion, finally, the paper summarizes the internal refining methods and ideas of frontier fortress architectural culture and modern inheritance.
