Research On The Historical Block Traffic Space Planning And Improvement Based On The Preservation Of Historic Features

Along with the development of cities, planning and protection of the historical block has been the core of city construction. However in the process of modernization,little attention has been paid to the historical block protection, which for a variety of reasons has been destroyed. The local characteristics as well as the traditional culture is disappearing consequently. The historical block traffic space is an important manifestation of cultural value and regional image. A good planning and improvement of historic blocks traffic space therefore is an important task of the current city planning and traffic planning.Taking historical block traffic space as a research object, on the premise of protecting historical features, this paper takes a study on morphological characteristics and current problems of historic blocks traffic space, establishes a historical block traffic space planning and an improved mode, and at last puts forward some concrete measures of practical application and solutions. And by analyzing SPSS and Matlab data, this paper presents a traffic calming design as well as a traffic management and control mode based on Slow Road Historic District.Through the analysis of domestic and international research, based on studies on related theories and connotations of historical block, this paper puts forward the concept of historical block traffic space. Combined with customs, history and culture of Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Kaifeng, Yinchuan, Hanzhong, this paper conducts an in-depth investigation into the current situation of domestic historical block inheritances and facilities from spatial, visual and other aspects of the existing problems of road network.Under the guidance of the traffic space planning principles, this paper raises severalconcrete ideas of traffic space planning, conducts a detailed analysis of the specific content of historical block traffic space planning, and at last puts forward planning methods along with improvement measures according to the historical block traffic space in historic buildings, roads, municipal facilities, service facilities,and traffic optimization.In this paper Dongguan Street Historic District in Hanzhong is taken as an example to conduct field surveys and historic analysis. Through studying the history of Hanzhong and Dongguan Street, and analyzing data from roads, buildings, facilities, transportation and other aspects of the interface, this paper discusses present problems lied in current Dongguan Street, and raises a detailed planning accordingly. Meanwhile based on the analysis of the historical block traffic space interface, facilities, color and other related elements, specific advices of improvements are listed at last.This study is supported by the National Natural Science Fund "the historic city protection and reconstruction of historic district space transportation planning theory and method research funding".
