Steel structure is widely accepted and adopted at home and abroad because of its lighted-dead weight, good toughness, easy installation and rapid construction speed,but the seismic performance also has its own particularity and complexity. In recent years,with the emergence of global abnormal climate, the polarization of seasonal temperature difference is more and more obvious, and the influence of temperature effects on the buildings is becoming more and more important.At present, domestic and foreign scholars mostly concentrate on the analysis of the bearing capacity and seismic performance of steel structure, while little influence of temperature on the steel structure. For the large-span steel structure, temperature stress has an important influence on the structural design and construction.In view of the above problems, this paper takes a university gymnasium as an engineering background, using SAP2000 finite element analysis software, using the mode-superposition response spectrum method and dynamic time-history analysis method,and then,under the combined effect of temperature and earthquake,analyses and disscusses the seismic performance of the steel arch structure at elastic stage in detail.The paper firstly carries out the modal analysis of the steel arch structure,and obtains the basic dynamic properties of the structure.By changing the connection form of the structure and the main structure, the impact of accessory structure on dynamic characteristics of the whole structure is analysed.The results have shown that the accessory structure has great influence on dynamic characteristics of the overall structure.It improves the natural frequency of the structure and changes the mode shapes of the structure.Secondly,by using the SAP2000 finite element analysis software, this paper carries out the analysis of response spectrum method for structure, and respectively calculate the seismic response under temperature, earthquake, the interaction between temperature and earthquake,so the structural displacement and internal force distribution are derived.Finally, three seismic waves(EL-Centro wave, Taft wave and Nanjing wave)are selected to carry out the elastic time-history analysis for the structure as additional calculations.At the same time,by comparing the results of two kinds of seismic analysis,the paper quantitatively analyze the influence of temperature effects on the seismic performance of steel arch structure.The studies show that the effect of uniform temperature has a greater impact on the overall seismic performance of the structure,and the influence of temperature effects on seismic response of steel arch structure should be considered in engineering design.
