Instability of expansive soil slope has become one of the main engineering geological problems in expansive soil area. Has attracted more and more attention of experts and scholars. The domestic and foreign scholars on unsaturated expansive soil slope has done a lot of research. Think of expansive soil slope safety factor coming down along with the development of the rain. A large number of engineering practice shows that in the early days of rainfall, as rainfall increases, there is a safety factor to increase process In Zhen Jiang. Rainfall increases further, the slope safety factor decreases. In this paper, through laboratory tests, FLAC software analysis, research variation of expansive soil slope safety factor and its mechanism at the beginning of the rainfall time in Zhen Jiang. Get the stability and safety of the slope at the beginning of the rainfall time, for the region of slope geological disaster warning forecast to provide the reference. This article main research content is as follows:(1)Through laboratory experiments : Got a relationship between shear strength and water content of expansive soils, namely with the moisture content increases the shear strength increased first decreasing trend;(2) Based on the stability of expansive soil slope under rainfall infiltration for numerical simulation analysis, the discovery of expansive soil slope under rainfall infiltration condition, the slope safety factor will have a transient increase in the phenomenon of;(3)According to the characteristics of precipitation in Zhen Jiang region in the long weak rainfall and short-time strong rainfall, pointed out the safety time of expansive soil slope instability.
