Wind energy, as a kind of primary energy, gets the wide global attention because of its clean and pollution-free advantages. Efficient, reliable and low-cost wind power generation technology becomes the emphasis of most research institutions all over the world. In many technologies, permanent magnet direct drive technology and doubly-fed asynchronous technology gradually become the mainstream, but both have the shortcomings of their own.In order to solve this problem, more and more scholars begin to pay attention to the brushless doubly-fed machine, which owns the advantages of the above two, and adopts field winding providing field current. The new kind of permanent-magnet brushless double-rotor wind power generator this thesis described is developed with the cascading brushless doubly-fed generator.This thesis takes a new 15 kW permanent-magnet brushless double-rotor wind power generator as research object. First of all, based on describing its structure and working principles, the equivalent circuit and mathematical model is established. Then, in view of problems of launching difficulty, fluctuation of stator output voltage, etc. method of rotor winding capacitance is used to solve the problems above. This thesis makes deep research on the pole pairs of the generator and obtained the matching condition of pole pairs through the standing wave theory. Finally, this thesis expounds the application of this generator in the offshore wind power.In the research of the new permanent-magnet brushless double-rotor wind power gener ator, a simulation platform is built,and its working principle and start-up problem is verified systematically by the experiment, finally the conclusions are verified on the MATLAB /S imulink and Ansoft simulation software. The results of simulation and experiment show that the generator can achieve the purpose of variable speed constant frequency through adjusting speed of the main and assistant rotor without the transformer. The method of rotor winding in series capacitors can solve the problem of launching difficulty. And the research of ratio of pole pairs can not only stabilize the terminal voltages, but also reduce the capacity of the permanent-magnet generator and save cost.
