Circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler combustion technology is a kind of combustion technology with low pollution, high efficiency, good load regulation performance and nice adaptability of fuel types and because of this, this kind of technology already has been widely used in industry field. Controlling the bed temperature in an appropriate range is the guarantee of the economy and safety of the combustion process. Meanwhile, as the development of the demand of the automatic control technology in the modern industry and the complexity of the circulating fluidized bed boiler’s structure and parameters, researching on the controlling of the circulating fluidized bed boiler’s bed temperature is meaningful.The main purpose of this professional master degree thesis is proposing a method to control the circulating fluidized boiler bed temperature. The topic selection reasons, the topic background and the present situation of circulating fluidized bed boiler bed temperature control are introduced in this thesis and the difficulty of circulating fluidized bed boiler bed temperature control and the main research problems are proposed. The principles of the circulating fluidized bed boiler are briefly introduced and the main factors influencing the dynamic characteristics of the bed temperature are analyzed through the mathematical model of mass and energy conservation. The basic principles of the combination of neural network with fuzzy logic are mainly introduced in this thesis, which is fuzzy neural network controller integrated neural network and fuzzy rules. The new fuzzy neural network controller is applied to control the circulating fluidized bed boiler bed temperature. And simulation experiment using Matlab/Simulink is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the method proposed in this thesis.
