The Application Of BIM In Construction Project Management

In recent years, with the continuous development of social economy, construction industry has made great progress, the scale of the construction project is expanding, the construction form is more diverse, and the function of construction project is more complex. In this case, the traditional construction management mode has been unable to adapt to the development of modern construction. Construction project is a more complex engineering system, in the process of building construction projects are often involved in the construction, structure, water supply and drainage, HVAC, electrical and other five professional knowledge, and these five aspects of the management process is not independent, but also has a certain relationship with each other. If the actual construction project management process, can not coordinate the relationship between the various professional, the information transmission error, not only will affect the construction effect, but also to the management process brings a lot of problems, making the construction management work becomes invalid behavior. Therefore, it is necessary to find a new building project management model. This paper puts forward the application of BIM technology in the process of construction management, which will greatly improve the efficiency of building project management, but also can greatly reduce the cost of construction projects, improve the economic benefits of the construction industry. This article will be analyzed from three aspects, the first part is the introduction and overview of BIM related theory.This part will introduce the research background, research significance, domestic and foreign research status, research contents and research methods, and introduce the theory of BIM, including the concept definition of BIM, three-dimensional BIM and collaborative design, BIM information technology characteristics and so on. It is convenient for readers to better understand the research emphasis of this thesis. The second part mainly analyzes the application of BIM in the application process, including the problems, the risk and the corresponding countermeasures. The third part mainly introduces the application of BIM technology in the various stages of construction engineering management, including the application of BIM technology in engineering design phase and the application of BIM technology in engineering construction stage and operation stage. The last part is the summary and outlook, summarized the content of the paper, the application of BIM technology in the construction engineering management.
