To determine reasonable seismic input model is very important for the seismic safety assessment of high-rise buildings. Based on this, this paper establishes the model of seismic input for 10 stories,20 stories,30 stories two symmetric high-rise frame structures considering soil-structure interaction(SSI) model or not, the linear and nonlinear characteristics of the site are considered based on the two model. The study shows that different seismic input model have certain influence on the structural seismic input and seismic response.The main work is summarized as follows:1. Enhancing the time domain explicit finite element method for the seismic response analysis of high-rise building SSI system based on the existing finite element method.2. Using the method to simplify the upper frame structure model as a mass string model. Discussing the self vibration characteristics of the two models to make sure the mass simplified string model is reasonable.3. Extending the spectral ratio method to the SSI system to consider the nonlinear characteristics of the site. Calculating and analyzing the seismic characteristics of different input models, and studying the rules of seismic input to determine the method of reasonable seismic input model for high-rise buildings.4. Comparing seismic response characteristics of each seismic input model of the high-rise frame structures, studying the rules of seismic action and seismic response, and determining the reasonable design criteria of high rise structure.5. Summing up conclusions of the work and future work.
