With the rapid development of China’s nuclear industry, nuclear waste increase rapidly. How to dispose of nuclear waste permanently and safely is a key problem in current research. Underground concrete nuclear waste storage is a main means in the treatment of low level radioactive nuclear waste. However, the underground concrete engineerings have some problems such as concrete cracking and leakage. Due to the underground concrete structure’s complex erosion medium, and the external environment can not be changed, so it is necessary to embark on reducing the internal defects and material composition of concrete. Taking fiber hybrid fiber concrete by adding Basalt and Dura in concrete as the underground nuclear waste permanent storage material, that can improve the crack resistance, and impermeability, in order to ensure that low and intermediate level radioactive nuclear waste are disposed safely.Based on the thorough analysis of fiber for concrete crack resistance and impermeability performance enhancement mechanism, according to accelerated carbonation test results, through the analysis of the intrinsic link between macro properties of concrete and microscopic structure, with average pore size as a bridge, we can get the ordinary concrete’s and hybrid fiber concrete’s permeability coefficient variation with the service period. ANSYS software is used to simulate the seepage flow of underground permanent nuclear waste storage.Starting from the normal use limit state angle, taking permeability coefficient as evaluation index of durability, with precipitation through underground nuclear waste storage roof edge as the extreme value, we put forward the prediction formula of underground permanent nuclear waste storage service life.Study on the impermeability of hybrid fiber reinforced concrete materials in this paper is of guiding significance for the full play of optimization and has application value of underground concrete structure repair decision.
