Smoke control valve is the main actuator of smoke-control system whose performance influences the functionality of the entire system. According to the needs of work the actuator is supposed to work reliably and be managed remotely. Most smoke control valve is driven by electromagnet. Therefore electromagnet’s optimized design and research on its remote control is very important to realize reliable remote control of actuator. For this purpose, two aspects of research in this thesis is finished as following:This thesis which is based on solenoid electromagnet combines the magnetic circuit analysis method with finite element simulation to optimize electromagnet. Firstly this thesis analyses the magnetic path of electromagnet based on the basic theory of electromagnetism, magnetic circuit partitioning method and empirical formula and gets the direction of the magnetic circuit optimization by theoretical calculation; Then according to the direction of optimization this thesis establishes a three-dimensional finite element model of solenoid electromagnet in Ansoft Maxwell, analyses the model, tests the direction of optimization, determines best technical parameters and meanwhile analyses the factors which can’t be confirmed by magnetic circuit analysis method. Finally we can get several optimum proposals which can be tested by Sample testing.This thesis finally gets two optimum proposals which can improve the electromagnetic by test. The optimization method that can be used by similar electromagnet design for reference takes both rapidity and accuracy and improves the efficiency of optimization.This thesis regarding smoke exhaust damper as the object of research designs a remote control system based on DC24V Power Line Carrier which reduces the wiring cost and realizes the integration of power and signal transmission. Bus network makes networking become flexible. Based on master-slave multi computer communication protocol, every communication deals with one actuator which can reduce the power grid load and interference and improve the reliability of communication.This thesis designs both hardware and software to ensure communication success. On the hardware side, common mode choke is used to cut off the high frequency interference from power chip. On the software side, odd-even check and checksum is chosen to implement transmission error control. Waiting-timeout and retry is designed to deal with communication failure including packet loss and error.The system has achieved good effect in test, which proves the possibility of smoke-control engineering application for Power Line Carrier technique.
