The Design And Realization Of The Digital Power Line Carrier Communication Based On FPGA

As the traditional and characteristic communication means of the power system,the power line carrier communication has played an important role in the power gridssystem all in our country running safe and economic.Although modern communicationtechnology developing rapidly,more and more new communication mode has beenintroduced to the electrical system,but because of its unique transmission medium,thepower line carrier communication in power line communication network still cannot bereplaced.In the paper,a digitization power line carrier,which based on the traditionalanalog power line carrier, has been design and realization by using digital device,suchas FPGA,AD/DA.In this system, its techniques of modulation and demodulation still isanalog sigle sideband.This paper focuses on converting the analog signal todigital,which before the analog modulation and after the analog demodulation.Thenprocesses this digital signal in order to improve the performance of this system. Heremainly narrated many functions design and realization on FPGA,such as the amplitudelimiter, the compress and expander, the AGC, the FIR filter and themodulation,demodulation of the E/M signaling that based on the FSK and so on. TheKey technologies of the multi-channel multiplexer have also been discussed in thepaper, including the digital multiplexing,the frame synchronization. At last this paperhas given the design proposal of the Multi-channel multiplexer.The digital power line carrier machine designed in this paper through debugs withthe company system-related union and tests, has already met the design requirements.
