| Maneuverability of ship is more complicated in reef areas than that in usual water areas. This is due to many difficulties like low coast-pilot precision, narrow and bending route, limited water depth, and so on. What’s more, compared with before, modern ships are getting not only heavier but also faster. The number of ships is also increasing. These challenges greatly lead to higher navigation.In order to reduce the incidenceof navigation accidents, people need toanalyze traffic safety situationfrom many aspects of ships, people, environment, management and so on, and give the feasibility report.In this article we will give navigation risk analysis of the reef waters from the aspects of navigation environment. We establish safety evaluation system for reef area navigation with fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. First of all, we introduced the concept of the navigation risk, the common methods of risk analysis, and the selection of risk factors.We collected the data about the reef area route navigation and analyzed the traffic situation and selected a set of environmental assessment factors in the reef area. Then, we classified and stratified these factors according to their characteristics. We also established the reef area waters environmental risk evaluation model.Finally, weconduct an experimental study on the internal sailing route of our country famous reef area-Zhoushan islands area using the navigation risk assessment mode. |
