Research On Children Bathroom Design Based On User Experience

Study on design of children’s bath products, which is contribute to reducing dependence on their parents for children. It is favor of developing the good habits for children, promoting children’s intellectual development and improving the children’s creativity. More and more parents have started paying more attention to children’s sanitary products which are conducive to child health and suitable for children.In this paper, this special group of children is regarded as the specific research users. The bathroom products used frequently are the research object in the people’s daily life. From the user experience perspective, achieve innovative design and research about children’s bath products. According to the characteristics of product, position the target population ages in the operation phase which is the second stage of the Piaget’s cognitive development process. Through the analysis of Piaget’s theory of cognitive development, summarize the important factors that affect the mental development of the child, namely, interest factors, social factors, and balance.By analyzing the characteristics of children’s bath products, the bath products requirements of target users are analyzed by taking the questionnaires with Harbin 149 households. The target user’s bath products are investigated by the way of household interviews of 7 families. Through the analysis of the survey data, summarize the children’s bath products in function, material and color requirements of the survey area home. It is summarized about the present situation of children bathroom product in each family, the use situation of bathroom products and the ideal state of children’s bath products by the household survey. Understand the needs of children’s bath products by analyzing the data and summarize that the children’s products design should complete from the point of user experience to respond to the child’s developmental needs. Their behavior should be taken in the design specification to realize the humanized product design.According to the results of investigation, based on user experience design methods, complete the children’s bath products innovative design practice. Research the appearance and function of the children’s bath products, set out the integrated design program, complete innovative design of children’s bath products which the toilet is combined with the wash basin. A new perspective is provided about children’s bath products designed. It is helpful to the development of the diversity of design forms. It will contribute to the follow-up study of children’s bath products.
