In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s national economy, highway transportation is abnormally heavy. It is mainly reflected in two aspects, first, transport volume increased; second, the weight of the vehicle and axle load increases, overload problem is serious, leading to serious damage to the highway bridge. Highway bridge structure is designed according to the design code.In order to study the current situation of bridge vehicle load, the actual investigation and statistical analysis of the current vehicle load must be carried out to know the actual operation condition of the highway bridge. in the necessary condition, adjust the operating load of the bridge.At present, many scholars have carried out investigation and research on the condition of the actual vehicle load. In China. Due to the vehicle information survey means more rough and limitation of survey conditions, the accuracy and completeness of the vehicle load information can not be guaranteed. WIM (Weigh-in-Motion) solves the problem of the early investigation method and the limitation of the survey condition.In this paper, based on the WIM data, the main research contents are as follows:(1) The data of measured vehicle load is analyzed, all vehicles are classified into 7 types according to the shaft group type, determine the type and parameter of the distribution of the optimal fitting of the joint distribution of the seven main representative vehicle unladen weight, axle load, vehicle spacing, vehicle speed and vehicle weight and speed. The statistical distribution model of the parameters of vehicle load is established. The vehicle load model is provided for the study of highway bridge load in the future.(2) According to the statistics of the parameters of the distribution of the parameters of the distribution of different types and parameters, take different points, the most unfavorable load condition of highway bridge is established by the actual vehicle load and compared with the norms of the analysis, method for establishing a model of a fleet of reference 85, obtain the fleet model in line with the actual operation situation.(3) Time domain analysis is used to analyze the distribution of traffic flow, mainly analysis of the change of flow distribution with time, look for the distribution law of traffic flow and provide effective basis for traffic management department to solve the actual traffic situation and guide the traffic planning.
